The SIM Reader uses a custom version of proven software for the purpose of forensic evidential examination of mobile telephone SIM cards. The system is an invaluable tool in gathering intelligence quickly and discreetly. There are two versions of the SIM Reader available: one for smaller SIM cards and an ISO version for either small or large types. Both are compact, lightweight and simple to use; self-powered from the serial port of any PC running Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 2000 or NT. Once connected to a PC, the software provides read, display, save to disk, and print options. Please note that these are READ ONLY devices and are not capable of writing to SIM cards. This aids in preserving forensic integrity. |

Each software licence has a unique serial number and is supplied with a certificate precisely explaining the capabilities of the equipment. The content of the certificate can easily be incorporated in a pro-forma statement of evidence.
